Little Folks, Different Strokes (Pediatric Cataracts: Anesthesia, Anatomy, Surgery)

This lecture was given at the St. Luke’s International Eye Institute’s Post-graduate course, where the Section of Paediatric Ophthalmology discussed Paediatric Cataracts, and how it differs from Adult Cataracts.  I was tasked with discussing how anaesthesia, anatomy, and surgery can be different in dealing with paediatric cataracts.

Common Motility Problems

Every year, the Sentro Oftalmologico Jose Rizal conducts a Clinical Course for two weeks, reiterating eye problems seen in practice.  This lecture is on Common Motility Problems seen both by those in general ophthalmology practice, and those dealing with the subspecialty.  Some clinical guidelines and salient features are discussed.
